My Film Senior Capstone project for Pacific University. A coming-of-age film about furries, featuring live-action, machinima, and animation work. I wrote, directed, and edited it. It's available now on YouTube--you can watch it below:
A machinima about nostalgia set in Minecraft, still a work-in-progress. I wrote it and directed the lines. You can watch the sneak-peek Trial Version here.
A portrait of a student at my alma mater, one of the best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players in the state. I'm still proud of the motion graphics in this piece. Watch the full video here.
My Journalism Senior Project for Pacific University. An arts and entertainment website focused on expanding what is possible within the form. Some of my favorite articles I've written for the site are Playing Video Games While Pretending to Be an Animal on the Internet and A Forza Horizon 5 Release Diary. I wrote most of the HTML and CSS the website runs on, and I'm responsible for its graphic design. According to Neocities statistics, we've earned over 30,000 views since its late-2021 relaunch.
As my college newspaper's Digital Editor from 2019-2020, I started the paper's Instagram and was responsible for its website's server move and 2020-2022 Wordpress redesign. I also wrote stories for the site, including a review of "Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware" that is currently cited on its Wikipedia page. I also wrote two of the 16 most-viewed articles on the site, according to its internal statistics: Thomas Dracaena Hit a Ground Out to Edric Tosser and "Rhythm Doctor"'s Wonderful Creativity Isn't Quite Universal.
Just a little note here: The site was redesigned after I left, and for some reason, all the links are the same color as the site's background--so if you see any gaps in the text, just highlight them.
My portrait of then-high schooler Hailey Hardcastle was printed in the April 2019 edition of Portrait Magazine.
I took some pictures of fursuiters at the furry convention with the most of them, Eurofurence, in August 2022. The full gallery is available on my Flickr.
A collection of photos of the Pacific University wrestling team while practicing. I tried to capture the sport's link between pain and vulnerability. You can view some of my favorite photos and some other photos I liked from my Sports Photography class from my Flickr page.
